ACTIVATED CARBON FILTRATION SYSTEMS
Fully automatic activated carbon (AC) filters remove chlorine, chlorine by products such as trihalomethanes, odor, taste, turbidity, herbicides, pesticides, insecticides, volatile organic chemicals and organic matters from water.
Another point of use is the pretreatment/posttreatment of water and wastewater treatment plants. Contaminants adsorbed to activated carbon minerals are drained by automatic back wash system.
The adsorption capacity of activated carbon is extremely high due to the huge surface area of a a single AC mineral. Activated carbon is produced from activated carbon derivatives such as coconut shell, nut shell, peat, coal, etc
